Castillo de Monjardín Chardonnay Reserva is a white wine produced by Bodegas Castillo de Monjardín in Villamayor de Monjardín, D.O. Navarra. Bodegas Castillo de Monjardín is a winery located in the centre of Navarre, at the foot of the Pyrenees, a privileged area for the cultivation of vines. This area is highly influenced by the French history and culture, which give it the tradition when it comes to producing their wines with varieties like Chardonnay, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. Bodegas Castillo de Monjardín has 220 hectares of vineyards located at around 700 metres of altitude, on sunny hillsides refreshed by the "Cierzo", strong cold wind characteristic of this area.
