Nicasia Malbec de Catena Zapata comes from the Nicasia vineyard at an altitude of 1095 metres in the La Consula district, planted with massal selections from Catena Selection. Nicolas Catena's father considered this area, made up of silty soils on a gravelly subsoil, to be an excellent terroir for Malbec, thanks in particular to its capacity to drain. This 100% Malbec is a full-bodied, rich wine of great intensity. The harmony between power and elegance is at its best here. Only a few bottles available.
