The slicer is quite good, heavy and slices through meat well. Comes with 2 different blades, that we've used on both frozen meat and soft cheese. Only drawback is there is a gap between the cutting bed and blade so the slice value is lost unless you turn the cut upside down...a bit of a chore but not a deal breaker.
