A cyclonic dust separator works in conjunction with a regular dust extractor. It is connected into the hose line to intercept a significant amount of the dust, depositing it into the container. Up to 95% of all dust, shavings and chips will be collected in the separator and never reach the extractor. As the majority of the dust is no longer going into the body of the dust extractor, the life span of the filter is massively extended. Airflow and extractor performance remain more constant as the filters do not get clogged. Can be used with vacuum type drum extractors or high volume bag type extractors.
