Château Musar Hochar is a barrel-aged red wine from the Bekaa Valley (Lebanon) made by Château Musar with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Garnacha Tinta varieties. Château Musar is a Lebanese winery that gained international prestige in 1979, when their house wine was chosen as the discovery of the event at the Wine Fair. Having spent time learning in Bordeaux, owner Gaston Hochar planted his own vineyards in the town of Ghazir, about 25 kilometers north of Beirut, on terroirs used centuries ago by Phoenicians and Romans who were already aware of the quality of wines from this area. Today his grandsons Gastón and Marc are running the project with the same passion and dedication as their grandfather.
