The Helly Hansen Lifa Merino Midweight Set for kids combines fibres with unique LIFA technology, which stay in contact with the skin and keep it dry, with a premium merino wool outer with superior insulation and moisture wicking properties.Features:- Material: 57% merino wool and 43% polypropylene - Two-layer construction- 215 g/m2 fabricTechnology:- LifaLaunched in the early 1970s and improved over the years, Lifa is a hydrophobic fibre that provides insulation and moisture control, removing it from the skin and transporting it to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates. Lifa fibres are used in the first layer of the membrane of base layer top garments, i.e. the layer closest to the skin. This, made of Merino wool, is combined with an additional layer of hydrophilic (moisture-absorbing) material, and so sweat is removed from the skin and transported to the second layer, where it is absorbed. This allows the wearer to stay warm, dry and comfortable.
