Fortunately I have some PC and networking experience and I’m not afraid to tinker. But this device pushed me to my limits. It started with the fact that my ATA192 box came with an ATA190 description. That had 8 × A5 pages, none of which contained any useful information. A search on the internet for …

DHCP Server Setting => DISABLE Now you can disconnect the PC/laptop from Ethernet and connect the ATA192 to the existing network via LAN cable on the ETHERNET jack. Finally the ATA192 web interface appears at the network address entered above! I’ll now try to see if I can finally integrate my multifunction printer as an analog fax behind a Fritzbox 7590. If I can’t manage it, CISCO can take the device back from me. In my opinion the ATA192 is not suitable for the general user base. Its installation is far too cumbersome. If I learn more, I’ll gladly share it here. Maybe it will help someone :-)
