Ultra-lightweight, weighing in at less than 5kg, this welder is ideal for portable use and provides superior quality ARC welding. Because of the versatility & simplicity of MMA welding, it requires less skill to operate and is used primarily to weld iron and steels (including stainless steel) up to 5mm thick. However, nickel and copper can also be welded using this method. This inverter welder is able to output between 20 and 140A, with an input voltage of 230V/50Hz. The process of MMA/ARC welding uses a coated consumable electrode (stick) to lay the weld; therefore an additional welding kit is not required. This model has inverter technology that has a high switching frequency, allowing the welder to be more efficient than non-inverter transformer-type welders.
