70cl / 40.00% - Joining the super-premium range of Tequila from Clase Azul, this Extra Anejo is the jewel in its crown. Treated to five years of maturation, beginning in American whiskey casks and finishing in ex-Spanish sherry casks, it's delightfully decadent and supremely silky. The decanter is masterfully hand-painted by artisans, with the design including three precious metals platinum, silver, and 24-karat gold, and astonishingly, much of the design is painted from memory, as the glaze only shows up on the dark background after firing. Impressive stuff in every way.
