This dark-brown, thick, and sticky syrup has a distinctive malty flavour and is about half as sweet as refined white sugar. TRADITIONAL MALTING PROCESS - SINGLE INGREDIENT - Organic grains are sprouted to release naturally occurring digestive enzymes, breaking down the cereal's starches into natural sugars. This creates a deliciously flavoured syrup with a balance of maltose and other sugars. Single ingredient, non-refining process. GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO REFINED SUGAR - FOR BAKING, DRINKS & DESSERTS - Use to sweeten hot drinks, baked foods, and as a topping for cakes, pancakes, and desserts.
