The thin and crispy toasted nori sea vegetable is baked for a few seconds and seasoned with natural sea salt and chilli. Convenient and delicious on its own, with sushi or sprinkled over salads. To grow sustainable seaweed, Clearspring carefully plants nori spores onto nets made of woven rope and suspends them into calm, shallow bays. The height of each net is fixed so that it remains above the water level during low tide, giving the nori maximum sunlight, and below the water level so the plants receive a regular washing at high tide. The delicate nori plants will grow until they cover the net, then are brought ashore to be cleaned thoroughly of any impurities.
