UNPASTEURISED - A LIVE PRODUCT WITH ONGOING NATURAL FERMENTATION - This miso is unpasteurised, meaning it is a live product with ongoing natural fermentation. Miso will naturally darken with time - this will not affect quality. Ongoing fermentation may cause the lid to bulge; it will still be safe to consume.
