How to Use Colief Colief® is safe to use with babies from birth. It can be used whether a baby is breast or formula-fed. Always follow the instructions to make sure Colief® Infant Drops have the best chance of helping you and your baby. Feed type Colief needed per feed Correct usage Breast feeding 4 drops Express a few tablespoons of milk into a sterilised container Add 4 drops of Colief Feed to baby on a sterilised, plastic spoon Breastfeed as normal. Infant formula 4 drops Make up feed as normal, according to manufacturer’s instructions Add 4 drops of Colief to warm formula Shake the feed occasionally for half an hour Feed the baby as normal, ensuring the feed is at the correct temperature Discard any unused feed.
