The inspiration for Celestial is a blended scotch produced in the 1950s and 1960s that Compass Box got a bottle of, who don't reveal the name but do confirm that it was created by one of the original 'Whisky Barons' (early Scotch pioneers like Tommy Dewar and James Buchanan).
