Conde de Valdemar Reserva is a red wine made from a traditional coupage of the Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo varieties that grow in Bodegas Valdemar’s own vineyards spread across three large areas of the D.O.C. Rioja: Rioja Alta, Rioja Baja and Rioja Alavesa. Bodegas Valdemar is a classic winery in the Denominación de Origen Rioja, where they have been cultivating their own vineyards since 1889. A history that culminated in the 80s when Jesús Martínez Bujanda, 4th generation of the family, built his own winery. Fitted with state-of-the-art facilities and a renewed style, Valdemar broke into the market as one of the most innovative wineries in Rioja. Alongside his two children, he is still working to maintain his personal style with balanced, complex and long aging wines.
