Contino Reserva 2017

This Riserva de Contino vintage is made from the best micro-parcels on this domaine in the Rioja Alavesa region. The wine reveals a nose of highly perfumed aromas - ripe cherry, blueberry, candied rose and incense - rounded off by hints of vanilla and smoked notes. Round and supple on the palate, this wine offers sappy flavours of black and blue fruit liqueurs and gingerbread as well as notes of walnut and cedar wood. The finish is long lingering over deliciously fresh notes of crushed blueberries. Wonderful purity!
