Weather-Master Ice 100 New Super Soft Compound: Gives stronger adhesion with ice to sufficiently improve grip. Dense sipes: Give more contact with the ground, and substantial increases in grip. Textured tread surface: Fine raised lines increase friction with the ice surface for stronger grip. 3D pattern: Rigid centre block for controlled changes of direction, with better control. Low temperature compound: Designed to remain flexible at very low temperatures, but also retain wet grip allowing the tyre to meet EU legislation for wet braking. Triangular Buttresses: Reinforce the outer circumferential grooves to provide lateral support as the compound is extremely soft. They also work to trap and compact snow to provide traction. M+S Rated.
