Coquerel Calvados XO | Extra Old Aged French Apple Brandy | Powerful and Complex | 70cl | 40% ABV

Coquerel XO is our greatest blend: powerful and complex, yet elegant and smooth. The blend of unique eaux-de-vie and the double ageing, first in new French oak barrels, then in very old Pommeau de Normandie natural apple apéritif cask, provides a subtle balance between the acidity of the apples, the sweetness of the unfermented sugars, dried fruits, and spices. TASTING NOTES: At nose: Candied Apple. In mouth: Gourmet, Brioche. Finale: Tatin and Pastry Chef. OLD FASHIONED: 40ml Coquerel Calvados XO, 1 Dash Angostura Bitters, 1 Sugar Cube, Sparkling water & Ice cubes. Athe the bottom of an Old Fashioned glass, PLACE the cube of sugar previously soaked in a dash of Angostura Bitter. CRUSH IT until completely dissolved. ADD ice cubes and pour the Coquerel XO. STIR with a spoon for fifteen seconds. LINE with sparkling water.
