A blend of younger and older Eau de Vie (up to 7 years old) lend this Cognac a fruity and delicate taste. Originally set up in Paris in the early 1800s to much acclaim (the then Emperor Napoleon III drank no other Cognac than Courvoisier) the business eventually moved 'down south' to Jarnac in Cognac itself in 1828. The products fame was surely at its peak when served at the opening of the iconic Eiffel Tower in 1889. A blend of younger and older Eau de Vie (up to 7 years old) lend this Cognac a fruity and delicate taste.
