The name Crusty Juggler comes from a local legend from years of yonder sailors warned of sighting a man dressed in rags, juggling driftwood upon the rugged rocky coastline, his hands encrusted in salt. Upon sighting the Crusty Juggler, ships were doomed to crash upon the rocks. We can't help but wonder whether he was attempting to act as some kind of human lighthouse and they might have got the tale all back to front?
