The Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear delivers colourless, deep-penetrating protection for sound timber across interior and exterior applications. Engineered as a general-purpose basecoat before painting, staining or varnishing, this water-based formula provides essential defence against decay, rot and fungal damage. The advanced formulation actively prevents deterioration from mould and blue-staining fungi, ensuring long-term timber integrity in demanding conditions. Suitable for occasionally wet interior wood or areas with condensation risk, the preserver offers comprehensive protection without altering the natural appearance of the surface. Application requires two coats with 2-6 hours drying time between coats depending on surface nature and weather conditions.
