Finished in hand-selected casks that once held Agave Tequila from the Jaliscan Highlands in Mexico, this is a fruity, floral dram with sweet, warming notes. NOT YOUR TYPICAL WHISKY - Deanston Whisky is distilled in a former cotton mill which harnesses the power of its water source, the river Teith, uses 100% local Scottish ingredients and traditional methods to create a uniquely waxy whisky. HOW IT TASTES - Fruity, floral notes from the tequila casks compliment the versatile, waxy, citrus character of Deanston. A fresh fruity burst on the nose. Sweet, rich, dry on the palate. Warming spice and sweetness of caramelised agave. HOW IT'S MADE - Aged for 13 years in classic oak hogshead before a 2 year finish in hand-selected casks previously used to mature Agave Tequila from the Jaliscan Highlands of Mexico.
