It fixes to the wall rather than standing on legs, so the floor underneath stays clear and a vacuum passes in one go. The unit projects only 25 cm from the wall and measures 40 cm wide by 22 cm high, which suits a narrow gap between a bed and a wall where a standing cabinet would block the walk past. A single drawer holds a charger, a book or glasses out of sight, and the surface above takes a lamp and a glass of water. The drawer front is flat with no handle to catch a sleeve in the dark. Built from 18 mm particleboard in a matte finish that wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth.
