This Denis Wick Straight Flugel Horn Straight Mute is made from hand-spun aluminium. Also suitable for alto trombones it is lightweight and easy to use. Real cork ensures a snug fit inside of the instrument bell. Straight mutes normally reduce the low frequencies and can be shrill however this is not the case thanks to its open design. Denis Wick have produced a durable mute with the "work-hardened" metal being both light and resonant.
