Cable management rings perform the role of cable ducts in the server cabinet. Network cables can easily be added to or removed from the harness when the configuration changes. It makes sense to place some guide brackets above, below & in the middle as fixed points in the cabinet. Two central management rings above & below cable ducts or patch panels are also conceivable.
