DIYUK 5.0 x 100mm Countersunk Torx Wood Screws, Yellow Zinc, Pack of 5 | Sharp point, deep coarse thread, ribs under the head for a flush finish; TX25 bit; CE marked to EN 14592

Quick, clean start: the sharp, self-piercing point starts the screw quickly and helps prevent the timber splitting near an edge; in softwood and boards such as MDF, chipboard and plywood it normally starts without a pilot hole Fast, strong fixing: the deep, coarse thread cuts its own path for strong pull-out resistance, and cutting notches on the thread mean less torque, faster assembly and less strain on your cordless drill or impact driver Flush finish: ribs under the countersunk head prepare the surface and seat the head flush with the timber, with no pre-countersinking needed Torx drive, TX25 bit: the star-shaped recess gives deep, positive bit engagement for stable driving, reducing cam-out, stripped recesses and bit wear compared with a Pozi or Phillips cross-head Size and pack: 5.0 x 100mm (10g x 4in), pack of 5 yellow zinc-plated steel wood screws; the zinc coating gives useful corrosion resistance 10 sizes to choose from: 3.5 x 25mm, 4.0 x 40, 50 and 60mm, 5.0 x 50, 60, 80, 100 and 120mm and 6.0 x 200mm, each in packs of 5, 20, 100, 200 or 400 For structural timber and joinery: CE marked and made to EN 14592 for structural timber connections and timber-frame work, plus general carpentry and joinery, furniture assembly, fixing boards and linings to walls and frames, and flooring and sheet material in MDF, chipboard and plywood
