DIYUK 5.0 x 50mm Countersunk Torx Wood Screws, Yellow Zinc, Pack of 5 | Sharp point, deep coarse thread, ribs under the head for a flush finish; TX25 bit; CE marked to EN 14592

Torx (TX) drive matched to the screw gauge, giving deep, positive bit engagement and reducing cam-out compared with a Pozi/Phillips cross-head. Sharp, self-piercing point starts the screw quickly on contact and reduces the risk of the timber splitting near an edge. Deep, coarse thread cuts its own path through the material for strong pull-out resistance and secure anchorage once seated. Fine ribs machined under the countersunk head pull it flush with the timber surface as the screw seats, without needing to pre-countersink by hand. Yellow zinc-plated steel body gives useful corrosion resistance.
