DIYUK Black Phosphate Drywall Screws 4.8x100mm - Coarse Thread Bugle Head Plasterboard Fixings - Pack of 50

Coarse thread cut specifically to grip timber studs and joists, unlike the fine thread used on metal stud systems - displaces more wood fibre per turn for a faster, firmer engagement. Hardened carbon steel shank resists twisting off when driven under power-tool torque into dense timber. Self-tapping point drives straight into timber studs and joists without a pilot hole. Pan/bugle countersunk head with a tapered underside draws down into plasterboard and seats flush for a clean, paintable finish without tearing the paper face. PH2 Phillips drive for secure bit engagement; black phosphate coating gives corrosion resistance for interior fixing, CE marked.
