DIYUK Galvanised Narrow Flat Bracket 120mm, Heavy Duty Steel Mending Plate, Pack of 8

Rust-resistant galvanised finish: silver galvanic (electro-plated) zinc coating over steel gives reliable general corrosion resistance indoors and in sheltered outdoor settings, so the repair stays neat and sound rather than rusting through. Slimmer profile than a standard flat bracket: the narrow design sits flush on slim timber sections and board edges without overhanging, so it works cleanly on thinner rails, battens and frame members where a full-width mending plate would look bulky or foul the adjoining surface. Built for splicing and repair: ideal for furniture repair and restoration, mending cracked or weakened joints in shelving, cabinets and frames, splicing timber lengths, and joining narrow timber sections edge-to-edge or face-to-face, indoors or in sheltered outdoor timber work. Pack of 8 narrow flat brackets, each 120mm long by 15mm (0.59") wide and 1.5mm thick; part of a wider range of eight lengths from 50mm up to 300mm, with plate gauge stepping up on the longer sizes for proportionally greater strength. Multiple fixing options on one plate: holes are pre-punched along the full length to take 4mm ring-shank nails, 4mm or 5mm wood screws, M5 bolts, or M5 concrete anchors, so the same bracket scales from a quick nailed repair to a bolted, higher-strength connection.
