DIYUK Galvanised Steel Wire Rope Thimble 10mm, DIN 6899 Form B Rigging Eye for Wire and Cable Rope, Pack of 10

Standard light-pattern rigging profile: made to DIN 6899, form B, for everyday wire rope work rather than the heavier form A pattern used with larger chain and rigging gear, so the proportions suit ordinary wire rope without over-sizing the fitting. Galvanised steel construction adds corrosion resistance, so the loop stays sound through damp UK weather, outdoor storage and marine exposure instead of rusting and weakening at the point taking the most load. Eye and groove sized to match: proportioned specifically for 10mm rope (≈0.39″), overall length 38.0mm, eye width 11.0mm, eye length 25.0mm, rather than sharing an eye size with a neighbouring diameter, so a shackle, hook or ring chosen to fit this eye seats snugly instead of sitting loose or over-tight. Built for real rigging use: suits wire rope eye terminations, general rigging, and marine or lifting work such as slings, lifting rope assemblies and tie-down loops, plus fencing and balustrade wire installations and agricultural or engineering rigging, so the loop keeps its round shape and holds its strength wherever it is put to work. Ready-to-use matched pack: supplied as a pack of 10 thimbles at 10mm, so every thimble in the box is the correct size for this rope diameter rather than an assorted mix of sizes you have to sort through. Fits standard termination methods: sits inside the rope loop itself, held in place once the loop is closed with wire rope clamps or a swaged or spliced termination, so it works with the fitting method you are already using rather than requiring a special termination. Size any connecting shackle, hook or ring to the eye width and eye length rather than to the rope diameter alone, and check the loop periodically for wear on rigging and lifting work.
