DIYUK Heavy Duty Metal Molly Bolts M5 x 51mm, Mechanical Expansion Cavity Wall Anchors for Plasterboard and Drywall, Pack of 5

Genuine mechanical-expansion fixing: a ribbed steel sleeve flares open behind the board as the central screw is tightened, spreading the load across a wide area instead of relying on friction alone like a plastic push-in wall plug. Fits hollow-backed boards: suited to plasterboard, drywall, particleboard, plywood and laminate panels; drill an 8.8mm (0.35in) hole for this M5 size and keep the drill square to the board face for a secure, even fit. Practical for everyday jobs: suited to wall-mounted radiators and towel rails, TV brackets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, mirror cabinets, shelving, curtain poles and other metal brackets fixed to plasterboard or drywall. Each pack contains 5 metal cavity wall anchors complete with their own removable machine screws, so a fixture can be taken down and re-hung later without the anchor dropping into the wall cavity. Made from carbon steel with a white zinc-plated coating for everyday indoor corrosion resistance; a ring of small teeth under the flange grips the board face to stop the anchor spinning as the screw is driven in.
