Manufactured to DIN 571, with the wood-screw thread form conforming to DIN 7998 - also known as lag screws or lag bolts. Hexagon head tightens with a standard 17mm spanner or socket for far higher installation torque than a screwdriver allows. Coarse wood-screw thread bites directly into timber for strong pull-out resistance, with no nut required on the reverse face. Bright zinc-plated (BZP) carbon steel construction gives reliable general-purpose corrosion resistance for indoor and covered outdoor use. Stocked from M10 x 60mm up to M10 x 300mm across 11 lengths, suited to decking, sleeper landscaping and heavy timber framing.
