Hex head for high installation torque: the DIN 571 hexagon head is driven with a standard 17mm (0.67in) spanner or socket rather than a screwdriver, so this M10 coach screw can be pulled up far tighter and more consistently than a driven wood screw. M10 (10mm) thread diameter with a 17mm (0.67in) across-flats head: fits any standard 17mm spanner, socket or impact wrench, and is sized to work with a suitable wall plug for fixing into brick, block or concrete as well as timber.
