DIYUK M10 x 60mm Hex Head Coach Screws, BZP Zinc Plated Lag Bolts, DIN 571 Timber Fixing Bolts, Pack of 10

A 10mm carbon steel shank with a bright zinc-plated (BZP) finish: the hexagon head tightens with a standard spanner or socket rather than a screwdriver, giving far higher installed torque for a firmer, more dependable heavy-timber fixing, with reliable general-purpose corrosion resistance. This 60mm length drives with the same 17mm spanner or socket as every other length in the range, with around 36mm of coarse wood-screw thread biting into the timber for strong pull-out resistance. Suits decking and veranda subframes, railway sleeper landscaping, heavy timber framing and fence posts, rails and gate hardware; needs no nut on the reverse face, and with a wall plug the same screw drives into brick, block or concrete too. Supplied as a pack of 10 M10 x 60mm hex head coach screws, so you can buy exactly the quantity a job needs without over-ordering. Manufactured to the DIN 571 dimensional standard with a wood-screw thread to DIN 7998 (also known as lag screws or lag bolts); pre-drilling a clearance and pilot hole is recommended to stop the timber splitting and ease driving.
