Built for the heaviest jobs: a 12mm high-tensile carbon steel shank, the largest diameter in the coach screw range, gives far more shank strength and thread engagement than lighter-gauge coach screws, finished bright zinc plated (BZP) for dependable general corrosion resistance. This 300mm length drives with the same 19mm spanner, socket or impact wrench as every other length in the range, with around 180mm of coarse wood-screw thread engaging the timber for a deep, secure grip. Suits demanding timber connections such as decking subframes, pergolas and carports, heavy-duty fence posts and gate hardware, and railway-sleeper retaining walls or raised beds; add a wall plug to fix straight into brick, block or concrete. Supplied as a pack of 10 M12 x 300mm hex head coach screws, enough for a full run of posts, joists or sleepers without having to order several smaller packs.
