DIYUK M8 x 35mm Black Countersunk Hex Socket Bolt - DIN 7991 Grade 10.9 - Pack of 100

Manufactured to DIN 7991, the direct equivalent of ISO 10642, so head geometry and drive size match other countersunk socket bolts to that standard. Property class 10.9 carbon steel gives a minimum tensile strength of around 1040 N/mm2 and a minimum yield strength of around 940 N/mm2 - roughly 25% stronger than standard grade 8.8 fixings of the same size. 90 degree conical countersunk head seats flush with, or just below, the surrounding material for a smooth, snag-free finish rather than a proud bolt head. Fully recessed internal hexagon (Allen key) drive lets torque be applied straight down the centre of the fastener without the tool slipping or camming out, even in a tight or recessed fixing point. Black flake coating gives a smart matte-black finish with good general corrosion resistance for dry indoor use and everyday outdoor exposure; a zinc-plated or stainless fixing will outlast it in prolonged harsh or damp conditions.
