Hybrid stainless build for lasting corrosion resistance: the band and housing are AISI 430 stainless steel while the screw is zinc-plated carbon steel, a W2-grade combination that stands up to rust and general weathering better than an all-galvanised clamp, while the carbon steel screw holds torque more reliably under repeated tightening than an all-stainless screw would. Sized for a 170-190mm clamping diameter (6.69-7.48in): this clamp closes down to 170mm and opens as wide as 190mm, so measure the outer diameter of your hose or duct once it's fitted over its connector and choose this size only if that measurement sits comfortably within the range, ideally with the screw still short of the end of its travel once tightened. Suited to larger-bore hose and ducting: this size is built for jobs such as HVAC and ducting connections onto spigots and connectors, and general workshop or light industrial hose and pipe fastening, wherever a flexible hose or duct at this diameter needs securing onto a barbed or ridged fitting.
