The Zermatt GTX combines lightweight performance with the durability and protection needed for demanding backpacking adventures. Designed as a lightweight backpacking boot, it features a durable suede leather and nylon upper with a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining to provide reliable waterproof protection and breathability on long mountain walks and challenging terrain. Despite its lightweight construction, the Zermatt GTX is built to handle rocky and unpredictable ground. A full rubber rand protects the upper from knocks and abrasion while helping the boot maintain its shape, while the 3mm PE insole provides medium stiffness for a supportive feel over extended distances. Underfoot, the die-cut EVA midsole provides cushioning and shock absorption, helping reduce fatigue during long days on the trail.
