Domaine Lafage Double Passage is a red coupage of red Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon. The first harvest takes place at the end of September, when the more acidic Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested; later, in mid to late October, it is time for the Grenache and Mourvèdre, which then reveal their more concentrated and sweeter side. This is the only way to achieve the special character of this red wine, signed by Domaine Lafage. In the heart of Roussillon, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, the origin of this wine can be found throughout the I.G.P. Côtes Catalanes, on soils of black slate and clay loams.
