The MA1 is a motorised actuator valve head that can be easily mounted onto a valve body using the ‘snap-on’ design feature. It possesses industry-standard wiring and dimensions making it one of the most popular mid-position valve actuators on the market. The snap on design makes future servicing quick and easy as it means the unit can be easily removed and replaced if and when required. The actuator can be removed from the body simply by pressing the release button on the side and lifting the actuator off. A mid position actuator such as the MA1 has more controls and cable connections as it supplies to hot water or heating whereas a zone valve will only open or close to a single service.
