This down jacket is a popular classic in the Dynafit ski touring collection and a must-have in every wardrobe. On cold days, it keeps you comfortably warm due to the premium RDS certified 800 CuIn fill goose down with a loft of 800 cubic inches and a down ratio of 95/5. Down is well known for its excellent insulating ability with a very low weight and small pack size. The only weakness of down is and remains its sensitivity to moisture. When the down gets wet, it clumps together and loses its loft, thus losing its insulating capacity. Precisely for that reason, the premium goose down used in the Radical Down hooded jacket has been treated with Downtek water-resistant treatment. For additional protection against the elements, the lightweight nylon outer shell is wind and water resistant.
