This rich and bold Highland malt is a masterful blend of Edradour’s signature smoothness and the intense character of Cabernet Sauvignon cask ageing. A special collaboration with the esteemed St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol, it was matured in first-fill Cabernet Sauvignon casks, pushing the boundaries of whisky maturation under the expert guidance of owner Andrew Symington. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, it captures Edradour’s malty heart while adding layers of deep red fruit, spice, and tannic depth. Expect a nose of inviting blackcurrants, dark chocolate, and a touch of cedarwood, while the palate unveils ripe blackberries, spiced oak, and a hint of espresso bitterness.
