If you find that the battery is impeding access, the drill has an additional trick up its sleeve whereby the battery holder can be rotated to shift the battery 90° out of the way. As part of the Power X-Change cordless system, this tool can be used with any 18v Power X-Change battery, and shares battery compatibility with a huge variety of additional cordless tools.
