Part of the Power X-Change system, the GE-CH 1846 Li is a cordless hedge trimmer which can be used with any Power X-Change battery. Along with its low weight and handy size, this means it can be used easily in areas which do not have nearby power sockets, and means there is no chance of tripping over or accidentally cutting through the lead. The integrated two-hand safety switch brings the blade to a standstill in less than 1 second as soon as the switch is released, and for safe storage and transport the tool is provided with a sheath for keeping the blade covered in between uses. The shock guard has a hole for wall mounting and enables this cordless hedge trimmer to be stored away easily, even in tight spaces. For a long service life the gearing is made of metal, and for clean cutting results the blades are made of laser-cut and diamond-ground steel.
