El Gorú 2020

El Gorú is a red wine produced by the winery Ego Bodegas in Jumilla, D.O.Jumilla. A few kilometres from the historic centre of Jumilla we can find Ego Bodegas. This project was created with the aim of working with the best vineyards in the area and of achieving the best grapes to produce high-quality wines, loyal to the variety and representative of the area. Ego Bodegas has 25 hectares of their own vineyards, most of them planted with the local Monastrell variety, ungrafted, and with an average age of 50 years. The climate in the area is continental, with the influence of the Mediterranean to the East and the plateau of La Mancha to the West. El Gorú is a wine made from Monastrell, Syrah and Petit Verdot, from their own vineyards. Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard. Each variety is vinified separately, fermenting the grapes in contact with their skins. They go through maceration for 15-20 days, at a controlled temperature without exceedi
