Evans 56 Calftone 16" EMAD Tom Hoop Drum Head

The Evans 56 Calftone 16" EMAD Tom Hoop Drum Head is made of a material that is an artificial alternative to traditional calfskin though the great sound still remains. These heads embody the look sound and all of the other qualities of traditional calfskin as well as having the fit consistency and tuning range that has been made possible with Level 360 Technology. This head has been made by using a 12mm mylar base that has been blended with unique materials to give out warm full and rich tones just like natural calfskin would. There is also an internal overtone control ring fitted to help focus the tonal response of the drum. The versatility of this head allows it to be used as both a batter and resonant head.
