The Evans 56 Calftone 22" EQ4 Bass Drum Head is made of a material that is an artificial alternative to traditional calfskin. Despite being artificial the sound remains the same. This head has been made using a 12mm mylar base that has been blended with unique materials to give out warm full and rich tones. There is also an internal overtone control ring fitted to help focus the tonal response of the drum. The versatility of this head allows it to be used as both a batter and resonant head.
