The Evans Hydraulic Blue Snare Batter Drum Head 14 is ideal for recreating that classic 70s tone. The fat short and deep snare tone from the Hydraulic head works without any extras. A thin layer of oil between the two 7mil films supress overtones and control the sustain in a musical way. Famously are robust in their holding of tuning this head is ideal for drums that struggle to stay in tune or those with little experience in tuning. All whilst looking eye-catchingly cool.Translucent films add focus to the tone complimenting the warmth so that it still cuts through a mix. A roughened surface on the film adds more textural options adding warmth to the stroke and able to be used with brushes. Used by Larnell Lewis (Snarky Puppy) and Robert Sput Searight (GhostNote) Hydraulics create the warm fat and nostalgic tone you want to hear. Please note: Snare Drum not included.
