The Explore Scientific Filter Set 3 includes four 1.25 inch colour filters in the colours yellow green, light red, purple and light blue for moon and planet observation. The filters are suitable from 150 mm (6 inch) opening diameter. The lens filters are made of glass and darken the light coming to the eye or camera sensor and eliminate surges. This causes certain details to be visible that remain hidden without the filter. The filters are made of high-quality optical glass and the filter surfaces are flat parallel, polished and anti-reflective. The filter holders are made of black anodised aluminium.
