Faustino V Reserva 2015

Faustino V Reserva is a wine from La Rioja produced by Bodegas Faustino, owned by the Faustino Group. In this blend there is Tempranillo (90%), to which Mazuelo (10%) is added. Having completed the harvest, the grapes ferment alcoholically for about 10 days at a temperature of less than 29º. Faustino V Reserva subsequently begins a process of maceration with its own skins for about 20 days. Faustino V Reserva finally ages for 16 months in American white oak barrels from Missouri. Before arriving on the market, it rests for another 24 months in bottle. The Faustino group consists of seven wineries. These are divided between different denominations of Spanish origin, although three of them are in La Rioja.
